I'm an autistic single mother with a science and arts background. Originally being skeptical about all things woo woo, I was much surprised when I hit my spiritual awakening while simultaneously hitting autistic burnout, divorce, job loss and moving across the country. I had no emotional or financial help, and needed to support my 5, now 7 yr old, all on my own.

Despite everything that the world has tossed at me, I have come back stronger with a light that refuses to dim. I recognize that I am fortunate to have the skillsets I have that kept me swimming and I would love nothing more than to share that with the world.

So who am I? I am: adventurous, authentic, bold, claircognizant, empathic, kind, loving, neurodivergent, playful, resilient, scientific, talented, tenacious, wise...

...and above all, I am magic!

The Magic Within: a journal

When I first published this journal I used a pen name, Helena Blakely. Throughout my life I have been taught to make myself small. What I have to contribute isn’t worthy of a promotion, but it is worthy of others taking credit for it and being autistic has made it difficult for me to advocate for myself.

I’m re-publishing this journal in my real name to reclaim my power.
I made this, I am proud of it, and I will not play small any longer.
