When I first published this journal I used a pen name, Helena Blakely. Throughout my life I have been taught to make myself small. What I have to contribute isn’t worthy of a promotion, but it is worthy of others taking credit for it and being autistic has made it difficult for me to advocate for myself. I’m re-publishing this journal in my real name to reclaim my power. I made this, I am proud of it, and I will not play small any longer.
